The de Finetti Award 2009

A competition for PhD students for the best research paper

PhD students are invited to send five copies of their paper to Cilia Witteman, secretary of EADM. A jury (Pieter Koele (chair), Wibecke Brun, Mandeep Dhami, and Dan Goldstein) will review the papers and award the prize to the best paper. The winner will be invited to give a presentation at SPUDM-22. The deadline for submission is 31 January 2009. The winner will be notified before 1 April 2009. The prize includes a diploma and a cheque of EUR 750. In addition the SPUDM conference fee will be waived.
